you know, hes like a particular artist. what he does with his work is not attainable by anyone else. so, you know, i dont know any other actors who could have done that. even the scripts had to be rewritten a couple of times because it was basically a script that was so good. you know, the scripts for this, and even some of the directors own films, in so many ways were really bad. i mean, they were good movies. they werent too bad. but deadpool was a good script. it was a really good script and with all due respect to him, he didnt make that movie, we did. and, you know, if they were, you know, really all being written and directors were doing it on their own, it probably would have never happened. because what makes deadpool special is not only the story, which is fantastic, but also what the characters are, and what they do and how the actor portrays them. so i think, obviously, thats a creative collaboration between these two talents. theyve been working together for a long time, and i think what came about was just that it just felt right, and we knew, the characters so much, we knew where they were going and what they were going to do, and it just came together.
